Beyond Goodbye: Leaving a Lasting Message

I hope this is a descent picture to say goodbye;) .

I’m fully aware that I’m still alive, but someday when I’m no longer here, and if circumstances didn’t gave us a chance to say goodbye to each other, these will be a few things I’d want you to know and understand.

Lately, losing several people in a span of just two or three weeks has taught me how unpredictable life truly is. Some individuals I’m no longer in touch with, or our relationships might have ended on a sour note.

I just want to say, if we were ever friends with each other, or if I ever told you I love you, I meant it with all my heart. No matter how things are right now, but in that moment when we were in touch, I was happy to be by your side.

You never caused me pain, nor did you bring misery into my life. Our actions were shaped by circumstances and youthful naivety. It’s crucial to recognize that your words about me were never a problem; how I chose to respond was always under my control. If any guilt lingers within you for hurting me, understand that I forgave you the moment we stopped talking.

I had to cut my ties off with some of you, not because you were a bad person or I disliked you, as I turned the page to begin a new chapter in my life, I found it necessary to part ways with some of you. This decision wasn’t a reflection of your character or any negative sentiment I held. It was simply a recognition that our individual journeys had reached a point of divergence. Your presence had played a vital role in shaping the narrative of my life, and for that, I am grateful. However, as I absorbed the lessons life had to offer, it became clear that our time together had fulfilled its purpose. With gratitude for the role you’ve played, I chose to step away from our connection, allowing each of us to embrace the uncharted territory ahead.

Every instance of cutting ties has been a valuable lesson, contributing to my growth and fortitude. Your influence has undoubtedly played a role in shaping me into a more resilient and improved individual. I firmly believe that life is a tapestry of lessons, and people often enter our lives with a specific purpose—to impart their wisdom and guidance before gracefully exiting the stage. I’ve come to wholeheartedly embrace this understanding. Just as every chapter serves its purpose in a story, our interactions have had their own significance. This perspective underscores my decision to step away from certain connections, each of us poised to explore the new and untrodden paths that await.

Hence, I never saw you as a bad person. I always saw you as a person who taught me how to be better. You always were and are an amazingly beautiful person who made me smile at times. I don’t hold grudges if you’d known me for a long time, so please know I don’t hate you, and I always have loved you and cared for you, be it by being friends with you or be it from a distance. I still do. I might not have been in touch for a while, or I might not see you anymore, but I’ll always remember every single one of you.

I know it’s getting a bit deep, but I really want these to be my last words to you if I’m gone. I don’t want you to be ever upset when you think of us. Nothing is permanent, and so wasn’t the time we spent with each other, but whatever time we had, at school, home, or wherever, I cherish each and every moment.

Whenever you read this, I hope you have that beautiful smile on your face, and you think of all our good memories we made together. And I hope you already know that till the time I’m alive, I’m always one call away. Take care of yourself and always be happy.

Your love,
