How to know the person in your life’s an angel or a devil?

Side note: I had kept this piece in my drafts for a month because I couldn’t find the appropriate words to finish it. I haven’t gone into detail yet, as I understand how sensitive it is.

However, I hope it delivers the message ❤

Is there something wrong with seeing the good in everyone you meet?

You are absolutely right in wishing the best for everyone you encounter. It’s perfectly okay if you choose not to engage in tit-for-tat with those who have wronged you.

You refrain from such actions because they don’t align with your true nature. Seeking revenge won’t bring you peace. You are a genuinely beautiful person, both inside and out, and you should never feel any shame about it.

Why do we think some people are good while others aren’t?

Many people have asked me, “Why does the worst happen to the best people?” To be honest, there’s no inherent division between good or bad people; they were all good before life shaped them otherwise.

Their experiences and insecurities influence their behavior. Instead of wishing them pain, it’s better to wish them healing; that’s what they truly need. However, it doesn’t mean you should endure constant hurt from them. Setting boundaries is crucial.

Their recovery shouldn’t come at your expense. Taking care of yourself is not just a choice but a priority. Therefore, if they are negatively impacting your life, the best course of action is to step away.

Walking away from people you deeply care about can be difficult, but at times, you must prioritize what’s best for yourself above all other feelings.

Why do “bad people” come in your life?

They often appear to teach you valuable lessons. While the experiences with them may not have been pleasant, if they imparted wisdom that transformed your life for the better, they can be seen as nothing less than a blessing.

Sometimes angels walk into our lives with the mask of a devil on their faces.

At times, being around them might feel gloomy, but when the time comes for them to depart, they leave us with a ray of sunshine in the form of valuable lessons that inspire our personal growth.

They play the villain in your story so that you can become the hero of it.

I’ve always felt that there’s no such thing as a good person or a bad person. People who are good in your story might be bad in someone else’s. Then how do you decide?

Why do we meet certain people in our lives?

Remember that everyone you’ve met, are meeting, or will meet has a purpose for being in your life. They all come into your journey to teach you something; though the experiences may vary, the ultimate destination remains the same. So, instead of fixating on the destination, find joy in the journey itself.

In my personal experiences, I’ve encountered several people who kept me in the dark for a long time. However, when I eventually emerged from that darkness, one of the first individuals I wanted to thank, after myself, was them.

Though they did things that made me question life’s meaning, I gradually realized that they played a role in helping me outgrow that phase of my life. They were merely acting out their parts in my story while battling their own insecurities. It wasn’t something I needed to take personally.

Then came a moment when I decided to forgive. Let me emphasize that forgiving people is essential for yourself, not for the sake of others. Remember that no one desires to be a villain on purpose; everyone is fighting battles we know nothing about. However, this doesn’t mean you should pity them and become their rehab. Boundaries are crucial to protect your well-being.

In a nutshell,

“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: THEIR HEALING SHOULD NOT COME AT YOUR EXPENSE. Focus on your self-growth, and life will unfold as it should.

Today, I felt compelled to address a prevalent issue in our generation where people often have complaints about their ex-partners. I, too, have been in that position at some point in my life. While I won’t delve into specific details to avoid upsetting anyone, I hope the underlying message comes through.

Terrible things may have happened to you, and there’s no way to justify them. However, there’s always a way to move forward, and that journey involves acceptance and forgiveness. If any of the words I’ve used happen to trigger you, I sincerely apologize.

Rest, stay kind.

Xoxo
